The Encyclopedia of World's Fairs and Expositions is an updated version of an earlier work by the same editors (Findling and Pelle, 1990). The original publication was derived from a course Findling taught at Indiana University Southeast. The newer edition includes essays with signed authors. The book covers 106 fairs from 1851 to the planned 2010 Shanghai exposition. Appendices comprise statistics, fairs not included in the essays, fairs that were proposed but not opened, general bibliography and internet resources.
