A Companion to the Philosophy of Literature

This well‐established series, volumes of which have previously been reviewed in these columns, has now reached its 44th volume. The format remains the same: a large collection of essays by separate authors covering a wide variety of topics within the chosen field. The individual essays are written by respected academics as balanced surveys, covering the main questions, referring to important authors and providing a bibliography for further study.
