Much has already been said about the Encyclopedia of Alabama (EOA). In 2008 it was cited as being one of the best free references by Library Journal. The content within EOA covers everything from the folk life of Alabama to the business and industry of the state. The homepage welcomes the reader with a link to Alabama historian, Wayne Flynt's essay on Alabama which starts out by discussing the geology and population of the state.
