Dictionary of DNA and Genome Technology (2nd edition)

The first edition of this book came out in 2008 and was reviewed in these columns (RR 2008/307). This new edition has just over one hundred more pages of text. The author picks up new terms as they appear in the literature. There are many cross‐references and plenty of synonyms. The author defines his rules for entry order and explains the use of commercial products as entries, and the need to contact the manufacturer for details.
