The prolific author Willa Cather is probably best known for her connections to Nebraska, the state where she spent much of her childhood and which profoundly influenced many of her novels and short stories. It seems fitting, then, that the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where Cather began her writing career and earned her degree in 1895, should be the birthplace of a digital archive of Cather‐related materials.
