David K. Frasier, a reference librarian at Indiana University – Bloomington, is an author interested in the dark side of celebrity culture and show business. His previous works include Suicide in the Entertainment Industry (Frasier, 2002) and Murder Cases in the Twentieth Century (Frasier, 1996). In the introduction to his most recent work Frasier acknowledges the influence of film historian Kenneth Anger, author of the controversial Hollywood Babylon (1965, re‐issued 1975) (Anger, 1975).
