George W. Crandell's Arther Miller: A Descriptive Bibliography is divided into seven sections, comprehensively covering Miller's creative output. It does not describe items about Miller (1915‐2005), probably the pre‐eminent American twentieth century dramatist. Crandell, Associate Dean of the Graduate school at Auburn University and a Professor of English, clearly in his Introduction: (pp. ix‐xii) explains the Format (pp. ix‐x) and Terms and Methods (pp. x‐xii) of his descriptive bibliography.
