Historical Dictionary of the Ukraine (2nd edition)

Authors working on the second edition of the Historical Dictionary of Ukraine, published in 2013, could not have predicted how contemporary events would highlight its relevance. I find that researchers and newcomers to the field of Ukrainian studies in 2014 now demand it, as the most up-to-date and available volume of reference. I received the second edition of this dictionary for review before the already dramatic events in Ukraine of November 2013 started to accelerate and became even more fast-developing and tragic.
