South Asia 2014

The South Asian volume of the well-respected Europa series of international surveys has been appearing annually since 2003, and the new edition is updated to September 2013. It covers Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, but not Myanmar. As usual, detailed surveys of the individual countries occupy more than half of its considerable bulk (amounting to about a million and a half words altogether).
