A novel coexistent resilience index to evaluate the supply chain resilience of industries using fuzzy logic

M.S. Narassima is a Faculty in Operations at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He completed his PhD in Supply Chain, MTech in Manufacturing Engineering and BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He has industrial experience in data analytics, system modeling, supply chain, etc. Presently, he has 31 publications in international journals and conferences. He serves as a reviewer in international journals. He likes to take up real-time problems and provide solutions to improve the functional and operational effectiveness, largely using quantitative methods and simulation techniques. His research areas include supply chain management, simulation and modeling, sustainability, production and operations management, public health, etc.

Vidyadhar Gedam has done his PhD in “Sustainable Engineering” under sponsored project by SINTEF-Norway at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur, in 2016 and Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from MSBTE, Mumbai. Currently, he is working as Assistant professor (Sustainability Management Area) at National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai. Prior to joining NITIE, Mumbai, he was research scholar at @ CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur. He has more than 10 years of work experience in research and academic institutions. His area of expertise includes safety and sustainability.

Angappa Gunasekaran has more than 400 journal articles published and 78,000 citations. He has served on the editorial board of over 30 peer-reviewed journals and has organized several international workshops and conferences in the emerging areas of operations management and information systems.

S.P. Anbuudayasankar received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore in 2011. His dissertation was titled, Unified Heuristics for a Class of Complex and Practical Routing Problems in Logistics, which won the best thesis award at the Fourth Conference on Global Advances and Innovations in IT and Management in Gwalior. He holds ME in Industrial Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, MBA. from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and BE in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 1995.

M. Dwarakanath had worked in various Techno Administrative Positions with a number of organizations. He had served as Director, DSTE and Member Secretary, Puducherry Pollution Control Committee. His expertise lies in EIA, Environmental Legislations and Compliances, Different kinds of waste management, water and air pollution, coastal pollution and management, sustainability, environmental awareness, environmental health and climate change. He was instrumental in conducting 15 major studies funded by organizations like World Bank, DST, MOEF&CC, CPCB, Ministry of Culture on GHG Inventorization, Climate Change Action Plan and Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan for Puducherry Union Territory. He was instrumental in setting up of Dr Abdul Kalam Science Center and Innovation Hub in Puducherry.
