Findings

There are two famous soccer teams in Liverpool, England, who have wrestled with the same dilemma for decades. Both teams have old stadia in need of refurbishment, and could easily fill thousands more seats, thus increasing matchday revenues. However, both are surrounded either by tightly packed terraced housing, or by parkland. In fact, it is the same park that stares at noth of them mockingly, as if to say – “if I wasn”t here, think of the huge, bespoke stadium that could be built for both of you!’. The problem is, even if that were possible, neither team’s fans would be that interested. In fact, many would fight tooth and nail to defy any such move.

Originality/value

The briefing saves busy executives and researchers hours of reading time by selecting only the very best, most pertinent information and presenting it in a condensed and easy-to-digest format. 10; 10;
