PAF introduces two new products ­ generic labeller and telescoping gate

After successfully supplying a number of project specific labelling machines, PAF is releasing to the market a generic labeller for the general printed circuit board industry that is competively priced. Designed to assist the automation process, it allows the label to be automatically placed at the start of the process for the bar code/serial number, to identify boards uniquely. This enables the boards to be monitired through the line, to test and then during operational/warranty life.

With increasing pressures on production line floor space, PAF has announced a telescoping gate to allow access through the line for operators, technicians and maintenance staff. Although PAF has long supplied shuttlegates this new product has the advantage of being shorter than competitive units (at 1,500mm) and includes unique safety features.

Both products are available for viewing at the Wellingborough factory and will be launched at Nepcon UK.
