New AOI repair software increases effectivity

GOEPEL electronic's newest version of the OptiCon repair station software ensures a decisive increase in effectivity for the verification and repair of optical by inspected assemblies (Plate 2).

The AOI system's monitor displays recognized faults as a colored real picture of the inspected PCB. Because of the visualization that is true to the original picture of the assembly, a faster recognition of the fault location is possible. The picture can be taken by each desktop scanner and is simply put at disposal per mouse click via the OptiCon repair station software. In parallel to the fault picture an authentic picture of the "good" component can additionally be inserted. The results are an increased objectivity in fault evaluation and a shorter training time for the user.
