Teaching Note: Bridging the digital and gender divide: transforming GGHS Larkana through SDGs

Mansoor Ahmed is based at the Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Pakistan. Mansoor Ahmed Junejo is an Assistant Professor at Sukkur IBA University and serves as the Head of the Case Research Center (CRC). He earned his PhD from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland and holds a master’s degree from the University of Melbourne. Junejo’s research focuses on higher education branding and identity, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour with publications in reputable international journals. He actively contributes as a marketing consultant. He has facilitated numerous Case writing workshops, including sessions at Deans and Director Conference’25, Salim Habib University and the National Case Writing Competition’24 at Sukkur IBA University.

Masroor Ali is based at Faculty of Accountancy and Management, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman – Sungai Long Campus, Kajang, Malaysia, and Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Pakistan. Masroor Ali is a passionate and dynamic professional in the field of Leadership and Human Resource Management. He is a senior faculty HRM & OB at Sukkur IBA University. He has served as professional consultant for different national and Multinational companies. A researcher with keen interests in AI in HRM, digital transformation, social sustainability, transformational leadership and business strategy with publications in reputable international journals. His research seeks to create positive change in HRM practices for well-being of employees, organizations and the environment.

Pirah Abbasi is based at the Department of Business Administration, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology – Larkana Campus, Larkana, Pakistan. Pirah Abbasi is an educator and researcher at SZABIST University, Larkana, Pakistan, specializing in Education and ICT. With over six years of teaching experience, she focuses on technology integration in education and teacher development. She has published research in reputable Pakistani journals, covering ICT in education and group learning in mathematics. Her work aims to bridge the gap between technology and effective teaching, fostering digital transformation in education.

Qamaruddin Maitlo is based at the Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Pakistan. Qamaruddin Maitlo is an Assistant Professor of HRM and OB at Sukkur IBA University, Pakistan. His research focuses on organizational behavior, leadership and human resource management in emerging economies. He has published in renowned academic journals and actively contributes to teaching, research and consultancy. Maitlo is dedicated to advancing HR practices and ethical leadership through impactful scholarship and industry collaboration.

Hira Alvi Khokhar is based at the Department of Education, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology – Larkana Campus, Larkana, Pakistan. Hira Alvi Khokhar is the Headmistress of a government girls’ school under the Sindh Education and Literacy Department. With over 11 years of experience, she is a researcher and advocate for prison education in Pakistan. Her work focuses on educational challenges for incarcerated women, juveniles and children in prisons. Committed to equity in education, she strives to create meaningful change through leadership and policy reforms.

Saima Abbasi is based at the Education Department, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Pakistan. Saima Abbasi is an educator and researcher at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Pakistan, specializing in Education and ICT. With four years of teaching experience and a BEd (Hons) degree, she focuses on technology integration in education and teacher development. Her research explores the role of ICT in modern education, enhancing digital learning and teaching methodologies. She is committed to empowering educators and advancing academic institutions through technology-driven approaches.
