Instruction Manual: Framing the narrative: leadership, bias, and the ethics of speaking out

Vineeta Dwivedi is based at Organisation and Leadership Studies, S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, India. She is a faculty member in the area of Organisation and Leadership Studies at S P Jain Institute of Management and Research. Her teaching and research interests focus on strategic communication, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, media and fake news and the intersection of identity and public discourse. With over two decades of experience in media, broadcasting, academia and journalism, she brings a practitioner’s lens to her academic work, having worked closely with leaders in the public and private sectors. She regularly designs and delivers executive education programs on communication strategy, ethical leadership and social impact. This teaching case reflects her interest in empowering students to engage critically with real-world leadership dilemmas, particularly around identity, representation and ethical voice in public service.
