In this article, the authors provide a practical framework for the development and implementation of successful organizational change programs. To date the focus of much writing in this area has been on “external” elements of organization but the authors argue that what is needed is more dialog in the “internal” elements (what goes on inside people’s heads). We suggest a framework, which guides change agent practitioners in the implementation of change in complex and dynamic business environments. We also discuss a framework for leaders and change practitioners to use to help build change agent capability. We argue that if you want to make change happen in an organization, you need to first change the questions you are asking yourself and the organization. Different questions lead to different actions and different results.
