High temperature Eze-Cap

Keywords Moss, Plastics

The new high temperature Eze-Cap range from Moss Plastic Parts provides cost-effective, reusable protection for plain or threaded studs during high temperature finishing operations such as powder coating, plating, paint spraying and anodizing.

The key feature of the Moss Eze-Cap is said to be its rigid design with a flanged cap end that makes it easy to apply and remove, while the internally bevelled open end provides a positive masking seal.

The Eze-Cap is moulded in natural silicone rubber which reportedly combines maximum resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents and oils with the capability to withstand continuous temperatures up to 200°C and intermittent temperatures up to 300°C. This enables the Eze-Cap to be reused time after time.

Eight different sizes of Eze-Cap are immediately available ex-stock from Moss to fit metric threads from M5 to M16, UNF threads from 3/16" to 5/8" and a number of BSP threads.
