Airtel ATN, a company involved in the development of communications software for the aeronautical telecommunications network (ATN) has acquired the aeronautical research and development business of National Avionics Ltd.

National Avionics is an Irish company specialising in research and development for the aviation community. The core business of the company is the development of communications and navigation solutions (Mobile, Satellite Data Communications, Mobile Terrestrial Data Communications, Navigation and Guidance Applications) as an answer to today's high density air traffic control flow. National Avionics Ltd has contributed to many European and International projects related to the air traffic management "ATN" technology.
