Increased confidence in the wide- ranging problem solving capabilities of Vardex Threading Solutions enabled Vargus Tooling of Telford (www.vargustooling.co.uk) to increase sales by 20 percent during 2006.

“The uptake of Vardex Threading Solutions is not surprising,”says General Manager Stuart Hogg, as companies across all industry sectors– and especially aerospace, medial and the oil and gas sectors –increasingly recognize the tooling's ability to, for example:

^.produce highly accurate thread mill forms in hard-to-machine materials, thin-wall components and blind holes;

^.reduce cycle and set-up times via single set-up working; and

^.minimize machining cycles due to rapid feed rates and high cutting speeds, as well as the elimination of a separate thread relief groove operation with its associated set-up and time savings.

The sales increases apply to all products within the Vardex Threading Solutions programme, in particular the two-in- one HeliCool-C threading and chamfering tool, HeliCool-R helical fluted thread mill, MiniL thread turning tool, Multi-fluted indexable thread mill (MiTM) and MilliPro thread mills.
