Cockpit Displays

PENNY & Giles potentiometric transducers specified for the Hawker Siddeley Hawk project will fulfil highly specialised measurement and control functions within the parameters of altitude, airspeed, acceleration, pressure and displacement. The instruments are used in the production aircraft to provide information for the accident data system, and for cockpit displays. All the transducers supplied for the production aircraft have the capability of on‐line interchangeability without affecting the system accuracy, the flight test instrumentation does not, of course, need this facility but these instruments are supplied with complete calibration reports.
