Mitutoyo (UK) Limited has acquired Coventry-based MGT The Gaugemakers Limited. The company will become a division of Mitutoyo known as the Gauging Technologies Division.

The two companies have a long-standing relationship, working together in providing bespoke solutions to customers' special measurement, gauging, fixturing and related problems.

The acquisition of MGT will add a further dimension to Mitutoyo's extensive range of customer support services. Increasingly Mitutoyo is being asked to provide a "total solution" and the ability to serve this need, using their own resources and under their complete management, has been of paramount importance.
