Packaging in an EC Context Available to Purchase

The introduction of EEC directives relating to packaging radically changes the way packaging will be controlled throughout the EEC. Migration testing is costly and difficult to achieve. Due diligence through the supplier chain is discussed to indicate how the chain will work to ensure conformity with the directives. Difficulty of enforcement, given the high cost, is discussed with a recommendation that in‐factory enforcement has to be the way forward.
