Reusing, recovering, and sharing materials are not new concepts in the building and infrastructure sector. However, Circular Economy remains to be a challenging sustainability goal to be delivered at scale in practice. This chapter explores how CE can be applied from the top-down and bottom-up approaches in the context of existing and heritage environments. It aims to explore the potential of value creation by the Circular Economy principles and technology as an enabler to improve the efficient use of resources.
