The Project Manager is identified in the Contract Data Part One or any replacement person notified to the Contractor. The person is appointed by the Client and carries out the procedures that are part of the contract administration. The Project Manager is also the person responsible for any instructions or interventions on the Client's behalf including the response to risk. The Accepted Programme is intended to be a central tool in that process. In this chapter we will consider how the Project Manager plays a central role in the programming by accepting or not accepting programmes.
