This chapter reports our analysis of focus group discussions involving three groups of anglophone mathematics teachers, each from a different region of Canada. The teachers discussed videos of their own teaching to identify examples of mathematics teaching that were typical of their region. The focus of our discourse analysis was on how each group of teachers constructed a regional pedagogy through their interactions. We highlight several features of pedagogy for each group. Comparing the three groups’ constructions of mathematics pedagogy, we found more similarities than differences.
