This chapter presents a four-handed testimony from two researchers newly integrated by the ISEOR research center after respectively 20 months and 6 months of internship. They present the story of their first months of integration, their surprises and the specificities of the working methods of the research center. In particular, they describe how they learned to set an example, how they sought to strike a balance between autonomy and cooperation, and how they analyzed the induction process and its impact.
