One of the main problems in the travel sector is achieving sustainable growth in tourist attractions. This is so in addition to helping the local economy thrive as it guarantees the preservation of natural and cultural resources for subsequent generations. Digital technology has been progressively embraced as a significant force behind sustainable travel development during the last several years. This is so because they provide fresh chances for bettering destination management, enriching visitor experiences, and encouraging sustainable behaviour among visitors (Kirtil & Volkan, 2021; Thayyib et al., 2023).
