The current chapter aims to investigate the impact of motivation, technology and social interaction on teaching using blended learning for identifying challenges and developing solutions for boosting educational businesses. Consequently, objectives of the current chapter are represented in three main points. The first objective of the current study is to investigate the impact of learners' motivation on teaching using blended learning and learners' performance. Another objective is to study the impact of technology used in blended learning on learners' performance. The third objective is to investigate the impact of social interaction in blended learning on learners' performance.
Under specific circumstances, students cannot be always introduced to traditional teaching settings within which they can interact directly with teachers and peers. This can occur due to several issues, some of which are related to facilities readiness while others are related to health risks similar to those encountered today as a result of the pandemic. Here, sole reliance on online classes as the one and only alternative replacing on-site classes may seem an appropriate solution. Nevertheless, this cannot be true when encountering technical issues and poor technological infrastructure. Meanwhile, human life cannot be endangered via having classes taught completely on site. At this point, using blended mode in teaching may seem an all-parties-satisfying solution. On one hand, it reduces human interaction for reducing health risks. On the other hand, it gives both students and teachers the opportunity to interact in face-to-face instructional situations in a way that boosts the educational process.
