Initially hoping to research course offerings within our teacher education program, this research took a new direction shortly after it began. When the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a change to virtual learning in March 2020, we worried our research journey had come to an abrupt end. Instead we found that the unforeseen changes brought by virtual learning helped us to shed light on new inquiries that, in turn, refreshed our pedagogy.
