This chapter describes the efforts that K–12 schools, universities, and communities can engage in to best support the growing diversity of Latinx students, with a specific focus on the Latinx immigrant population who may be labeled as English learners in the public school system. Through the lens of critical race theory and LatCrit, we critically analyze the ways in which schools, universities, and the community are currently supporting Latinx, immigrant English learners. While each stakeholder plays a key role in the success of this student population, we provide salient recommendations, including specific curriculum and program considerations in both K–12 and higher education, as well as community wraparound services that demonstrate how each entity can collaborate to ensure optimal success for these students.
