Chrystalla Mouza, EdD, is distinguished professor and director of the School of Education at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on teacher learning and professional development, applications of emerging technologies in K–12 classrooms, and computer science education. She directed several projects aimed at improving teaching and learning with technology in high-need schools, preparing in-service and preservice teachers in computer science, and broadening participation in computing. Dr. Mouza’s work has been published in key outlets including the Journal of Research on Technology in Education and Teachers College Record. She is the recipient of the 2010 Distinguished Research in Teacher Education Award from the Association of Teacher Educators and current editor-in-chief of the journal of Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education.
