Chapter 7: Similarities and Differences in Pedagogy: A Thematic Analysis

This chapter presents a thematic analysis of the transcripts of the anglophone regions of the study from an outsider perspective. In our efforts to seek out regional differences in pedagogy, we actually began to see many similarities across regions through our analysis and coding. We first describe the themes we determined were shared across regions and then explore some additional themes that seemed to be unique to the three regions. We conclude with some discussion of the limitations of our outsider analysis and some insights into future areas to be explored.
