Group projects are a pedagogical approach to cultivating skills essential for leader development and workplace success. This chapter defines group projects, explores their significance in leader development, and provides evidence of their effectiveness. Various forms of group projects are examined, including cooperative, project-based, and classroom-based team learning. Design considerations, objectives, and stages of project development are discussed to aid educators in implementing effective group projects. Additionally, an illustration of an alumni leader development program demonstrates the practical application of group projects. The chapter concludes with insights into how group projects contribute to leader development, leadership capacity building, and resources for further exploration.
