ANOTHER MAJOR INVESTMENT BY MARCONI A new purpose‐built printed circuit board plant, representing a total investment of £1 million, was officially opened on 22nd October, 1976 at the Hillend, Fife, factory of Marconi Space and Defence Systems Limited (a GEC‐Marconi Electronics company), by Mr. Gregor Mackenzie M.P., Minister of State at the Scottish Office.
