Purpose

The study is purported to understand the interplay between neurodiversity and artificial intelligence. It also highlights the current state of literature and suggests future course of research on neurodiversity and artificial intelligence (AI).

Design/methodology/approach

The study employs a keywords’ analysis of 23 number of articles indexed in the Scopus database using the VOSviewer software.

Findings

The article employs keywords’ analysis to discover the relevant themes such as social communication, large language models, machine learning and assistive technology which will further supplement empirical studies on neurodiversity and artificial intelligence.

Research limitations/implications

The Scopus database acts as the only source of data and therefore the findings may not be comprehensive. Furthermore, a detailed systematic review of a considerable number of articles will unravel a much concrete perspective on the subject.

Practical implications

Organizations can take cues from the findings of this study to deploy strategic practices for managing neurodiversity at workplaces with AI based tools.

Originality/value

The article attempts to accentuate the nexus between neurodiversity at workplaces and artificial intelligence with naivety and proposes several research as well as managerial implications.
