Presents the existing organization chart of earthquake disaster management in Iran. Discusses the legal aspects as well as issues facing the existing chart. Also introduces governmental and non‐governmental organizations involved in the process. Notes the weaknesses in the system and proposes a modified organization for better management and handling of earthquake crises in Iran.
