The US Geological Survey's Volcano Hazards Program Web site consolidates much of the information on volcanoes available from the Survey. The "Educator's page," which we have not mentioned before, includes seven complete on-line texts:

• Volcanoes;

• This dynamic Earth;

• Monitoring active volcanoes;

• Volcanoes of the USA;

• Mount St Helens: past, present, and future;

• Eruptions of Hawaiian volcanoes: past, present and future;

• Fire and mud (Mount Pinatubo, Philippines).

It also provides a catalogue of other books and media on volcanoes that can be purchased from the survey.
