Commonwealth Technical Training Week will focus the spotlight of publicity on an area of our national life which is largely unaccustomed to it. Our correspondent hopes that sessions where controversy, frank criticism and awkward questions might be aired will be found a place in all the local arrangements being made. Even though the resulting publicity may not be quite as ‘safe’ as that of the open day or exhibition it will do more active good in the long run — and ‘free speech’ sessions will draw the crowds!
