Significance
Manufacturing will be strongly affected by new climate regulations and emerging technologies which allow for machines to 'talk' to each other. The automotive sector is leading in both of these fields, as regulations and advances in electronics are leading to a shake-up of the supply chain, creating opportunities for new entrants and potential disruptions to the existing automotive business model down the line.
