Slovenia seeks to boost the number of self-employed people
New training modules and teaching aids to develop an entrepreneurial spirit among people taking part in vocational education and training have been developed in Slovenia.
A programme to promote business start-ups, entitled “Working for Myself”,covers topics such as making a living, gathering the necessary resources, selling oneself and one’s business proposal, and dealing with officials and government regulations.
The programme will first be offered to instructors in Slovenia’s vocational-training institutions. It is hoped that they will then pass on the skills to young trainees.
