Two new publications

Here is what the authors of this report have to say about it. The report contains a detailed description of full‐time one‐year courses for 16 + students in the further education sector and, to a lesser extent, in schools and sixth‐form colleges. As far as we know, it is the only account of its kind. The emphasis is mainly on courses that have been designed for young people who stay on in education without a clear academic or vocational commitment. The courses fall into five main groups
