Mailis Elomaa is a Doctoral Researcher in the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Her research interests are in the area of educational leadership in early childhood education and school settings and leaders' well-being and coping with stress.

Eija Pakarinen is an Associate Professor at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She earned her PhD in psychology from the University of Jyväskylä, Department of Psychology. Her research foci include teacher–child interactions, teacher–student relationships and teacher well-being in relation to student motivation, social skills and academic achievement. In addition, she is interested in psychophysiological measures of teacher well-being and teacher–student interaction.

Sirpa Eskelä-Haapanen is a Senior Lecturer of early years education and also the Head of the Department of teacher education in the University of Jyväskylä. She has studied inclusive education, children's literacy acquisition, students' educational transitions and how children form their beliefs in elementary education.

Leena Halttunen is working as the Head of the Department of Education, University of Jyväskylä. Her research focuses on leadership and especially on deputy directors in early childhood education and on organizational culture. She is also involved in leadership in-service trainings for ECE staff.

Antje von Suchodoletz is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Principal Investigator of the Teaching, Learning and Development Lab (https://nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/centers-labs-and-projects/teaching-learning-and-development-lab.html) at New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE. Bridging across psychology and education, she studies the interrelatedness of teaching and learning processes and outcomes at the level of the individual, how multiple environmental contexts affect these processes and outcomes and how contexts can be changed to promote teacher and child well-being.

Marja-Kristiina Lerkkanen is a Professor of Education at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and Visiting Professor at the University of Stavanger, Norway. Her research foci include the dynamics of teacher–student interactions, motivation and literacy learning as well as teacher professional development and literacy instruction. She has been honored by the Finnish Academy of Sciences and Letters and the Estonian Ministry of Education for her scientific articles and publications for teachers. She has positions of trust in EU Peer Counseling tasks, Finnish National Audition of Education, Finnish National Agency for Education and with Ministry of Culture and Education in Finland.
