Good or bad?

DaimlerChrysler’s premium division Mercedes Car Group expects to generate a “high-single-digit” percentage gain in productivity this year, according to Chief Operating Officer Rainer Schmueckle. Most companies would be very happy with that but it compares to a 12 percent productivity improvement last year – so is a bit of a disappointment!
