Ascom Telecommunications Private Switching Division (PSD) has launched an integrated voice processing system, Ascom Call Center Small (ACCS). Designed for medium to large businesses,ACCS can be used to manage incoming calls, increasing efficiency and flexibility in the office. Desktop voicemail allows users to record individual messages which then acts as an answerphone. The system auto-attendant greets callers and directs them to the department of their choice, using touch-tone choices on their telephone. ACCS is easily integrated with any of the Ascotel ISDN telecommunications systems which offer a total communications solution for the office. ACCS's functions include desktop voicemail as well as a system auto-attendant function, which means that incoming calls are immediately directed to the right mailbox, or department, and the call gets to the right place, first time. The two port option records for up to two hours and the four port option records for seven hours, and can support up to 128 mailboxes. The range includes the Ascom Call Center with full unified messaging and IVR, and the Ascom Call Center Light which provides 12 voicemail ports and unlimited mailboxes.
