The partial aliasing patterns for Taguchi’s L₁₂ orthogonal array

The use of the L₁₂ orthogonal array has been highly recommended in Taguchi’s experimentation; however, it has very complex partial aliasing patterns (PAP). Proposes a method based on the inner product (IP) of vectors for computing the PAP of an interaction. Provides some special tables, which give the values of IP for three‐factor, four‐factor and five‐factor so that the PAP for any order of interaction can be obtained easily. Discusses some interesting properties of the PAP.
