Analysis of training programs related to quality management system: the Spanish case Available to Purchase

Luc Honore Petnji Yaya received a PhD Degree in Economics and Business Administration. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Universitat Internacional of Catalunya, Spain. He has a Master in Business Innovation and Technology Management at the Universitat de Girona, Spain, as well as a Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and in Accounting and Finance in Leeds, UK. He has collaborated in various research projects from national and international universities as well as funded EU projects. His work has been published in refereed journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Total Quality Management and Business Excellence, Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries, International Journal for Quality Research, etc. Besides he has presented several papers at national and international conferences. His current research interests include: service research, service operations, and quality management as a whole as well as customer satisfaction, customer loyalty innovation, management system and integration management system, etc.

Frederic Marimon received a PhD Degree in Business Administration. He is a Tenured Professor at the International University of Catalonia, Spain. He is a Full Professor accreditation by Quality Catalan Agency of the University System (AQU). He received Degree in Industrial Engineering by Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, and the Master Degree in Business and Administration by IESE in Barcelona. He is currently the Vice-rector of Research at the International University of Catalonia. He is focused on production area, mainly in quality, e-quality measurement and in services companies. He has published in international academic journals, most of them in the quality management issue and also some papers that analyze the diffusion phenomenon of management standards (i.e. ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc.). At the same time he is involved in some consultancy projects, most of them related to the implementation of quality systems, although have also been implicated in other fields, such as logistics.

Josep Llach holds a PhD Degree in Business Administration and Management. He is a Lecturer in the Universitat de Girona, Spain. He received Industrial Engineering Degree and a PhD Degree in Innovation Management. Nowadays, he is teaching and researching in the Department of Business Administration and Product Design. He has published several articles in international journals in the fields of management and engineering. His research interests are focused on innovation management, with a particular emphasis on organizational innovation.

Merce Bernardo received the PhD Degree in Business Administration and Management. She is a Lecturer at the Business Management Department, University of Barcelona, Spain. Her research specialties are integrated management systems, diffusion of standards and e-quality measurement. She has been involved in different projects related to these specialties. She has published several academic and non-academic papers about these specialties, both national and international.

Marti Casadesus is a Professor in the Department of Business Management and Product Development. University of Girona. He studied Industrial Engineering (UPC) and holds a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering (UdG). He is currently a Co-director of the research group GREP (Research Group in Product, process and production) at the University of Girona, and the Director of the consolidated group GITASP (Research Group in technological innovations in the productive process). Both these groups are devoted to the design of new planning and management of production systems, as well as quality management. He is also one of the Spanish experts on the Technical Committee 176 of ISO (international organization for standardization), which is dedicated to the creation of new standards of management systems. He has been the Vice-dean at the Polytechnic School and the Vice-rector for Planning and Quality at the University of Girona. He is currently the Director of AQU Catalunya.
