Monitoring multinomial logistic profiles in Phase I using log-linear models

Hamidreza Izadbakhsh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Kharazmi University. His research interests are in the areas of multivariate quality control, profile monitoring, artificial neural networks, and operations research.

Rassoul Noorossana is a Professor of Applied Statistics at Iran University of Science and Technology. He received his BS in Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1983 and his MS and PhD in Engineering Management and Applied Statistics from the University of Louisiana in 1986 and 1990, respectively. His primary research interests include statistical process control, statistical analysis of profile monitoring, process optimization, and Six Sigma. He is the Editor of Industrial Engineering International Journal, editor of Quality Engineering and Management Journal, and serves on the editorial journals. He is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality.

Seyed Taghi Akhavan Niaki is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. His research interests are in the areas of simulation modeling and analysis, applied statistics, multivariate quality control, and operations research. Before joining Sharif University of Technology, he worked as a Systems Engineer and Quality Control Manager for Iranian Electric Meters Company. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in 1979, his Master’s and his PhD Degrees both in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University in 1989 and 1992, respectively. He is the Co-Editor-In-Chief of Scinetia Iranica, The Editor of Scientia Iranica, Transaction E, a board member to several international journals, and a member of απµ.
