Out of Bedlam: The New Philosophy of Management by Quality Leadership

By means of a case study the traditional way of managing — managing by control — is examined, and the pitfalls are highlighted, in particular those related to quality. Organisations should, instead, embrace management by leadership, and the various aspects of this philosophy are discussed.
