Adept Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of flexible automation for the fiber optic, telecommunications and semiconductor industries, has announced the release of Adept DeskTop software. This new PC software is used to graphically program, control and monitor Adept equipment using the V+(tm) and MicroV+(tm)programming languages. Combining Adept's integrated motion control with best-in-class PC tools will decrease training costs and implementation time, while increasing productivity".
The Adept DeskTop software packages, available as Adept DeskTop Full and Adept DeskTop Lite editions, feature standard Microsoft style toolbars, icons, and drag and drop tools facilitating ease-of-use editing, debugging and execution of programs.
