Why are academics of science more productive than those of social science? Evidence from Indonesia

Nurdiana Gaus is a doctor of Higher education policy and Leadership at STIKS Tamalanrea Makassar. Her main research interests are the impacts of derivative theories and concepts of neoliberalism on the changing nature of professional identity during ongoing process of higher education. Muhammad Basri is a pof Linguistics at the Department of English and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia. His main research interests are in the area of biliteracy development using an ecological approach. He has authored and co-authored work in the field of English language development in higher education and policy in higher education.

Mustaking Mustaking is a doctor of public administration science at the Department of Public Administration Science, Universitas Puangrimaggalatung, Indonesia. His research interest is social research in the politics of public administration.

Muhammad Azwar Paramma is a junior lecturer at the department of English and literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia. His main research interests are educational technology, English language studyand bilingual education.
